| Rapid almost guaranteed their progress to the next round after the 2-1 win in the first leg in Poland. Rapid has won only one game of the lastsix at home. In the 2023/24 championship season, there were only four wins in 16 home games. The hosts have never had a worse home record in their club's history. This season could be different but since a really well-known new signing is still missing and the loan from Augsburg, Dion Beljo, just three weeks ago, is the last addition. The Poles are definitely not in that great shape that we all know them a yers ago and they could possibly not lose once again but only a few believe that a miracle is possible. Six competitive matches played so far by both clubs in this season two by Rapid, four by Wisla none of which have had more than three goals in total. The guests are currently only a second division team that did win the Polish Cup last season. Furthermore, Rapid have not yet reached the necessary playing rhythm to convince to be such a favorite in this game at home. |
