Europe (UEFA) - Group Stage 2021/2022
Both team score
By no means the Dutch are the underdog in this Champions League cracker. At least that's how the bookmakers see it, who even more trust the hosts than Erling Haaland and Co. Both teams will want to win this clash and we should see an open game. In addition, Amsterdam could benefit not only from the home advantage, but also from some failures on the part of Dortmund. Their most important player, Haaland, seems to be fit again in time after a thigh injury. After their unexpected 0-1 Bundesliga defeat against Gladbach a few weeks ago, followed victories over Augsburg 2-1 and most recently against Mainz 3-1. The Dutch are undoubtedly an extremely strong home team that only lost three games in the entire year 2021. However, one of these rare setbacks happened during the last home game, which took place shortly before the international break. On this occasion, Utrecht were able to win 1-0 against the Dutch record champions that came as a surprise to many. Currently after two matchdays both teams are sitting at the top of Group C with equal points.
