| Even under new coach Danny Rohl, Rangers simply can't seem to turn things around. After suffering a 0-3 defeat against Brann Bergen in the Europa League in their very first competitive match under the German manager, two league wins were followed by a defeat in the Scottish League Cup on Sunday against city rivals Celtic in the Old Firm derby 1-3 after extra time. Internationally, the hosts have lost all of their last six matches, their longest losing streak in club history. Therefore, there's little reason to believe in the home win in this match. Although AS Roma didn't exactly cover themselves in glory after their opening victory in Nice 2-1 suffering defeats at home in the Stadio Olimpico first against Lille 0-1 and then against Viktoria Plzen 1-2 things aren't looking too bad overall for the Wolves, who currently sit 4th in Serie A and can even dream of Champions League qualification again. Despite the loss in the final warm-up match against AC Milan 0-1, Gasperini's team will try to bounce back with an away win at the Ibrox Stadium against the struggling Scottish side. |
