| Arsenal lost in the EFL Cup to Newcastle a few days ago. The recent 1-1 draw in the Premier League against Brighton was not celebrated with great enthusiasm but with only two defeats and a second place, the team is playing a pretty decent role in the championship. Most importantly, they have not lost at home yet. Manchester United is currently taking everything that sounds positive. The Red Devils are in the lower midfield of the Premier League, but admittedly they pulled themselves together and fought for a 2-2 draw at Anfield against Liverpool. Being knocked out in the third round of the FA Cup would not be a disgrace considering the opponent this time. As defending champions, Man United would of course like to go far, having secured the cup a few months ago with a 2-1 win against Manchester City. Five of the last six direct games have been lost and in the last twelve there have only been two wins. The last time they won at the Emirates Stadium was in 2019. This victory not only came in January, but also in the current competition, the FA Cup. |
